Our client in Glenwillow is looking for CNC machine operators to join their 2nd shift team!
- Tuesday - Thursday 2:00PM to 2:30AM
- Manufacture components, utilizing CNC Bridge Mill, as defined by Print Specifications.
- Inspection of components, utilizing standard gages, to ensure “part-to-print” specifications are maintained. (Standard Gaging includes but is not limited to Scales, Calipers, Micrometers, Indicators, Height Gages, Optical Comparator, and CMM.)
- Ensure proper documentation is followed, and maintained if required, for all jobs run. This includes router procedures, setup procedures, tooling ordering procedures, etc.
- Practice good housekeeping for all areas surrounding W/C of responsibility as well as participating in keeping all other areas of the plant clean.
- Maintain equipment according to all applicable maintenance schedules, includes Personal Protective Gear.
- Order supplies and tools as required, utilizing Kanban Cards, Tooling Tags, or Purchase Order Requisition Procedures.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Minimum 1-year prior experience in similar role within a related Machining environment.
- Basic competency in Machining on fabrications.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- Abilities must include reading, writing, and performing basic math computations.
- G-Code programming a plus but not required
- G-Code editing required
- Must be capable of bending, reaching, kneeling, crouching, and climbing, aswell as regularly lift, push, pull, and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Experience machining large weldments
- Experience with overhead crane
- Experience with large part set-ups
