Job Description



Our client in Louisville is looking for an Electrical Assembler to add to their team!


Shift
  • 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm


Pay Rate
  • $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience


Responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, recondition, repair, spray paint, and assemble all types of switchgear equipment.
  • Cabling of medium voltage and high voltage switchgear.
  • Installation of bus work per engineers drawings.
  • Installation of insulation materials using the tooling, materials and procedures set forth by the supervisor.
  • The ability to use fabricating machinery, arc welding and the use of torches.
  • Using various hand tools such as drills, saws, screw shooters, nibbler, DA Sanders, air and manual operated RTV dispensers, grinders, etc. 
  • Ability to read schematics / point to point diagrams. 
  •  Understanding of panel layout to ensure proper fit of devices. 
  • Verify components with a (BOM) bill of materials. 
  • Install electrical per Engineering Drawings.
  • Ability to study schematics /blueprints to determine the placement of the conduit. 

Job Requirements

Requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
  • Ability to safely operate and maintain all equipment and hand tools.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs. climb ladders, stand or kneel for extended periods of time. 
  • Ability to read and comprehend Standard Operating Procedures.
