Job Description
Our client in Ravenna is looking for Extrusion Operators to join their team!
Shift
- 2nd Shift Monday - Wednesday 6:00pm to 6:30am, Thursday 6:00pm to 2:30am
Responsibilities
- Run an extrusion line from start to finish daily in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform all quality checks at specified periods and ensure the products meet all requirements.
- Address all quality issues and refer them as appropriate.
- Change all equipment and tooling as required.
- Ensure that all set-ups are maintained in a timely manner to reduce down time from changeovers.
- Monitor the equipment for proper operation.
- Perform a visual inspection of parts being packed.
- Package parts according to requirements.
- Fill out production forms as required.
- Assist in area housekeeping.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the Supervisor and/or Team Leader.
- Pay increases by $1.00 at 6 months and 1 year
Job Requirements
- General mechanical ability
- Able to read, write and use a tape measure to a 1/16"
- Ability to distinguish color variance
- Able to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods of time.
- Prior work experience in a manufacturing, plastic or warehouse environment preferred
- Stable job history and dependable
