Our client in Akron is looking for Metal Die Setters to join their team!


Shift
  • 1st Shift Monday - Friday 5:00am to 1:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Setup Machines
  • Prepare machine tools and production tools for others to use
  • Operate specialty machinery to fabricate, manufacture, assemble, or move products.
  • Conduct quality checks periodically.

Job Requirements

  • Tow motor certified
  • Able to read a tape measure and have their own tools
  • Must know how to measure shut height before they put die in the press
  • Must be familiar with stamping operation of progressive dies and compound dies
  • Must know how to set positive knock out and adjust feeders and pilot release
  • Must be able to load and start their own coils
