Job Description
Our client in Niles is looking to add Welders, Fabricators, and Fitters to their team!
Work for this 3rd generation, family-owned, steel fabrication company.
Shift
- 1st Shift Monday - Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm
Pay
- $17.00 - $20.00, based on experience
Responsibilities
- General welding of parts
- Ability to fabricate structural products
- Ability to fabricate moderately complex items
- Interpret and apply shop drawing information, including weld symbol designations, with limited assistance.
- Exhibit knowledge of material identification, equipment utilization and welding equipment set-up and maintenance.
Job Requirements
Requirements
- High School Diploma of GED
- 1-2 years welding experience
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Good mechanical aptitude
- General knowledge of shears, press brakes, plasma cutting operation, sandblasting, flanging, rolling equipment and drills.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Effectively operate common layout tools.
